Alexander Sebald has signed a new contract with FC Energie Cottbus. He is currently the second-choice goalkeeper behind Elias Bethke and has played in two regional cup matches but not in the league yet.
Goalkeeper Alexander Sebald is poised to extend his contract with the third division promoted club Energie Cottbus, as reported by coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz. The Lausitz team reached an agreement with the 28-year-old during the international break, although the new contract is yet to be signed. Wollitz expressed their happiness about the development and described Sebald, his number 2, as an important piece of the puzzle. At present, the undisputed number 1 in Cottbus is Elias Bethke.
