Albert Guðmundsson Transfer from Genoa to Tottenham Hotspur

Albert Gudmundsson is on the radar of Tottenham.

Tottenham may also be interested in Albert Gudmundsson and therefore the discussions between the parties will continue. The request for the Icelandic player is however over 30-35 million euros, with Inter and other Premier League teams considering what to do.

Inter, Juventus and Napoli have shown great interest in the Icelandic striker Alberta Gudmundssona (26) who has been playing for Genoa since January 2022. The player has scored 31 goals in 84 appearances since joining Serie A, causing great interest from clubs.

Tottenham, which is looking for reinforcements for the attack, has had Gudmundsson in its sights for some time. The relations between Spurs and Genoa are good, as evidenced by the deal concluded in January, which took Radu Dragusin to London for 30 million euros with Djed Spence making the reverse journey, but on loan. Tottenham's idea is to try to carry out a new operation with Genoa, taking advantage of the assist from the Icelander, but the big Italian clubs do not intend to raise the white flag so easily.

Albert Gudmundsson, who is being pursued not only by Inter and Juventus but also by Tottenham, could follow the path taken in January by Dragusin in July. Albert has explained the priorities of his life. Genoa will not impose anything on anyone. The final agreement, whether for sale or retention, must satisfy both and balance what Albert wants and needs with what they want and need. In January, they rejected an offer from Fiorentina; in recent weeks, they have received the interest of three clubs from the major European championships for Gudmundsson. They have significantly increased his salary to make Genoa a real option for his future: much will depend on his personal goals.

Tottenham is trying to surpass Inter and Juventus in the race to acquire Gudmundsson. Inter and Juventus could even establish a rustic duel to try to win the services of the 26-year-old from Reykjavik. The obstacle, both for the Nerazzurri and for the Bianconeri, is however represented by the valuation that Genoa gives to its number 11. If in January an offer of almost 25 million from Fiorentina was sent back, explaining that at least another 5 were needed just to sit down and discuss it, in June even 35 might not be enough. Figures that neither Inter nor Juventus seem able to guarantee, unless they include in the negotiation technical counterparts more or less appreciated by the Rossoblu. A solution, the latter, which in Pegli, is seen only as a secondary alternative to the cash payment of the entire card of Gudmundsson. A practice that the Spurs would certainly be able to guarantee. Moreover, Genoa and Tottenham at the end of their respective agonistic seasons already have a summit scheduled to discuss the future of Djed Spence, an English full-back owned by the Londoners that the Ligurians could redeem by paying 10 million. Who knows that on that occasion the name of Albert does not also come out...

Albert Gudmundsson from Genoa is also liked by Tottenham. The Icelandic player is valued at 35 million euros.

Tottenham is also showing interest in Albert Gudmundsson.

The surprise of Serie A has long been in the sights of Tottenham and especially Inter, but at the moment, there is no agreement with any team, which is why Juventus could intervene in the coming weeks.

Tottenham is also interested in Gudmundsson and is looking to get into the negotiation talks.
