Z. Davitashvili leaving Bordeaux?
Georgian forward Zuriko Davitashvili has been officially signed by AS Saint-Etienne from Bordeaux.
Zuriko Davitashvili, a midfielder born in 2001, has joined Saint Etienne from Bordeaux. He had also attracted interest from some Italian clubs. The deal was secured with the help of Cristian Zaccardo, a FIFA agent and intermediary. Davitashvili has signed a four-year contract with an additional one-year option.
Zuriko Davitashvili has joined AS Saint-Etienne from Bordeaux. He was in the plans of Saint-Etienne, which was looking for offensive reinforcements. After multiple discussions, Saint-Etienne convinced Bordeaux to let go of the Georgian international for 6 million euros. He successfully passed his medical examination and signed a four-year contract with AS Saint-Etienne.
AS Saint-Étienne has submitted a new offer to Bordeaux for Zuriko Davitashvili. Bordeaux seeks at least 6 million euros for the transfer. Davitashvili is attracted to the project at AS Saint-Étienne and the opportunity to play in Ligue 1.
