Parma has signed Zion Suzuki, born in 2002, from Sint-Truiden. He was initially brought to Europe on loan with an option to buy, which Sint-Truiden exercised mid-season for around 4 million euros.

The agreement with the Belgian club Sint-Truiden has been reached on the basis of an offer of six million plus two million in bonuses. The player will be tied to Parma until 2028. If there are no hitches or dramatic reconsiderations, Suzuki will soon be available to Pecchia.

Negotiations between Parma and Sint-Truiden for Zion Suzuki are in the final stages. Sint-Truiden has already acquired Kokubo, another Japanese goalkeeper, to replace Suzuki. Parma has offered 6 million plus 2 million in bonuses, while Sint-Truiden is asking for 8 million plus 3 million in bonuses. Parma has already reached an agreement with Suzuki, who is set to sign a four-year contract until 2028 with an option for an additional season.

Zion Suzuki continues to wait for Parma. In the friendly match that Sint-Truiden played against Ajax, the goalkeeper started once again on the bench.
