Verona has shown interest in Zé Pedro during this January transfer window. The Italian club made a formal purchase offer for the FC Porto central defender, but it was rejected by the Portuguese club. FC Porto is demanding the 20 million euros stipulated in Zé Pedro's release clause to let him go. Zé Pedro is 27 years old and has a contract with FC Porto until June 2027, having played 13 games this season for the club.
