Yuki Kobayashi announced his own departure from Celtic after being unveiled by Portimonense. He moved to Portugal on a three-year deal after spending 18 months at Celtic. Yuki Kobayashi has signed for Portimonense, ending his spell at Celtic. The centre-back sought more game time and was linked with St Mirren but chose Portugal. Portimonense's manager Sérgio Vieira secured a four-year deal for the 24-year-old, making him the main signing in a triple swoop. Kobayashi, brought to Celtic by Ange Postecoglou, made just seven appearances for the Hoops.
