Arsenal have been named among a group of top European clubs reported to have held early talks with representatives of Monaco and France midfielder Youssouf Fofana. Fofana is believed to be on course to leave Monaco in pursuit of bigger things. He only has one more year left on his contract and Monaco seem resigned to selling now while they can still command a transfer fee, rather than let him down his deal into free agency.

Arsenal, a top-level club, is also interested in Youssouf Fofana from Monaco.

Youssouf Fofana has emerged as a possible summer signing for Arsenal. However, Fabrizio Romano has downplayed rumours that Arsenal are currently pushing to sign the France international. Fofana will decide his future in the summer, not now. So nothing concrete is happening at the moment.

Yousssouf Fofana, defensive midfielder of Monaco and the French national team, has been in Milan's sights as a potential reinforcement for next season. According to Footmercato, however, the Rossoneri club will have to watch out for competition from Atletico Madrid, PSG, and Arsenal.
