Yannik Engelhardt leaves Fortuna Düsseldorf to join Como 1907 in Serie A. The transfer was announced by Fortuna Düsseldorf on Thursday evening. Engelhardt was previously released by F95 for discussions with another club. The transfer fee is reported to be eight million euros.

The transfer is not yet finalized but is expected to be completed soon. Fortuna Düsseldorf will receive 4.8 million Euros from the total 8 million Euro transfer fee, with the remaining 3.2 million Euros going to SC Freiburg, who hold a 40% stake in the player.

Yannik Engelhardt did not travel to England for a test match against Ipswich Town. He was released for talks about a transfer with another club. According to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder has already agreed with the Italian promoted club Como 1907.
