Botev Plovdiv's management is planning to offer a new contract to midfielder Yanis Karabelyov. Typically, discussions for contract extensions take place during the winter for players with expiring contracts. Karabelyov's situation was unusual as he initially did not perform well in the 'yellow-black' jersey, alternating between a starting position and the bench. However, he has since become a key player under coach Dusan Kerkez. The sporting director, Artur Platek, is planning to propose a new contract to Karabelyov, whose current contract extends until June 2025.
