Shaocong Wu Transfer from Radomiak Radom to Beijing Guoan

Shaocong Wu, who did not play any matches in Poland for Radomiak Radom, has begun training with Beijing Guoan. The transfer was announced by the Piłkarskie Państwo Środka profile on X. Radomiak Radom experienced a lengthy wait to complete Wu's transfer from Başakşehir due to delays in obtaining the necessary documents. In mid-October, the transaction was finalized, with Radomiak securing an option to purchase Wu after the loan period. However, Başakşehir accepted a satisfactory offer from Beijing Guoan, especially since Wu's contract was set to expire in June. Wu has been spotted training in Haikou, Hainan, where Beijing Guoan is preparing for the upcoming season under the guidance of coach Quique Setién. Reports indicate that the transfer is finalized, and a photograph of Wu training with his new team has been shared.

Radomiak Radom had expressed a strong interest in collaborating with Shaocong Wu. However, after finally acquiring him, complications with his visa arose, preventing him from making his debut. According to a report by Szymon Janczyk from Weszlo.com, which cites Chinese media, the 24-year-old might soon be transferred by the Turkish team İstanbul Başakşehir to Beijing Guoan. This transfer is seen as more favorable for İstanbul Başakşehir because they would not receive any payment from Radomiak Radom, as the player's contract is set to expire in June. İstanbul Başakşehir had initially made arrangements for a loan deal with Radomiak Radom, which included an option for a permanent transfer if Wu adapted well to the league. However, due to the visa issues and his lack of game time, Radomiak Radom's plans were disrupted, and now the possibility of his transfer to Beijing Guoan is considered a more advantageous scenario for İstanbul Başakşehir. Furthermore, Wu is expected to miss the start of the spring training session because he has been called up to the national team.
