William is regarded as a promising talent, having made 20 appearances for the main team, scoring three goals and providing one assist. He is also an under-17 international for Brazil. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 6 million euros. The transfer might also pave the way for Wendell's move to São Paulo, as his contract with Porto is nearing its conclusion.
