Kanga's departure from Hertha is a done deal according to BILD. However, a buyer is yet to be found. Recently, Gent and clubs from France showed interest, but it is unclear if they are willing to pay the five million euro transfer fee. Kanga was recently on loan to Liège, where he scored 12 goals in 34 competitive matches.

Hertha also hopes to sell Kanga. The striker, brought in from Young Boys Bern for a transfer fee of nearly five million Euros in the summer of 2022, could not establish himself in Berlin. However, he was successful this season at loan club Standard Liège. With his strong performances, he has created a market for himself in the Benelux region and in his native France. A transfer fee in the area of the purchase price is considered realistic. The Belgian first division club KAA Gent is considering Kanga.

Hertha is hoping to sell Wilfried Kanga. The forward could not establish himself in Berlin after being bought for almost five million Euros from Young Boys Bern in the summer of 2022. However, he performed well this season at Standard Lüttich, which is also in the portfolio of US investor 777 Partners. Lüttich does not have a purchase option and will not be able to keep Kanga, especially since a transfer fee in the range of the purchase price is considered realistic. KAA Gent, a Belgian first division club, is interested in Kanga.
