Barcelona are allegedly drawing up an offer of their own to take Wesley to La Liga.

Barcelona has expressed interest in acquiring Wesley, a 21-year-old right-back currently playing for Flamengo. The Catalan club has been observing him for two years and had previously made an unsuccessful attempt in 2023 to secure him on loan for their B team. They remain attentive to his progress and are contemplating a purchase proposal. Wesley is regarded as a prototypical fast and offensive Brazilian right-back with significant potential, having developed tactically under the guidance of coach Filipe Luís. Flamengo has indicated that they will only enter negotiations for offers in the region of 35 million euros (R$ 209 million).
