Wataru Endo Transfer from Liverpool to Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town have expressed interest in signing Wataru Endo. Liverpool are prepared to let the Japan international leave this winter as he has fallen down the pecking order under Arne Slot. Liverpool have set his price tag at between €15-18million (£12.5-15m).

Liverpool is contemplating the departure of Wataru Endo in the January transfer window owing to his limited opportunities and prominence within the team. Despite his experience and commitment, Endo has struggled to secure a place in Arne Slot's plans. Several Premier League clubs, such as Ipswich, have expressed interest in acquiring him, viewing Endo as a player capable of providing balance and discipline in the midfield. The upcoming months will be pivotal in deciding his future and role in the latter half of the season.

Liverpool could reportedly accept a January offer for Wataru Endo if they make a signing of their own. The club is open to offers amid interest from AC Milan, Celtic, Fulham, Ipswich, and Wolves. A report stated that Liverpool would be happy to receive, at the highest, €18million (£15m/$19m) for Endo. However, there are conflicting reports regarding his potential exit.

Wataru Endo is wanted by three Premier League clubs, including Ipswich. Since the arrival of manager Arne Slot, Endo has played just two times in the 2024/25 season and has slid down the pecking order. However, Endo has hinted he wants to stay and fight for his place.

Ipswich Town is reportedly interested in signing Wataru Endo from Liverpool in January due to his limited playing time.
