Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has shown interest in Viktor Gyokeres, the Greek striker from Sporting, known for his exceptional performances both nationally and internationally. Recently, he impressed by scoring a hat-trick against Manchester City in the Champions League. PSG is ready to meet the demand of at least 100 million, despite the high level of competition. This interest from PSG arises as they aim to bolster their attack following Kylian Mbappe's departure.

PSG is unlikely to target Viktor Gyokeres in the forthcoming winter transfer window. Le Parisien reported that PSG's coach Luis Enrique had reservations about the €100 million price tag set by Sporting for Gyokeres's departure in January, viewing it as a risky investment for all involved. The previous summer, PSG had shown interest in Gyokeres, but the matter did not advance further because Luis Enrique was content with his existing attacking choices.

PSG showed a strong interest in signing the Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting. The Parisian management was prepared to make a move to acquire him, but Luis Enrique, the Spanish coach, opposed his arrival. Enrique reportedly believed that his team did not need Gyökeres as they already had Gonçalo Ramos, Kolo Muani, and the option of using Asensio and Kang-in Lee in that position. He was also skeptical about Gyökeres' potential success in Paris, suggesting that the pressure of the transfer could be overwhelming for him. The transfer of Gyökeres was estimated to be valued at 75 million EUR this summer.
