Victor Boniface has been proposed to Tottenham as a possible acquisition towards the end of the January transfer window. Bayer Leverkusen is prepared to part with Boniface following an unsuccessful transfer to Al-Nassr. The Saudi Pro League team had initially negotiated a deal exceeding £50 million for Boniface, but they decided not to proceed with the transfer, choosing Aston Villa's Jhon Duran instead.
