Vanja Milinković-Savić Transfer from Torino to Napoli

Vanja Milinkovic Savic, the Serbian goalkeeper, has a contract with Torino until 2026, with an option for extension until 2027. However, there is a release clause of 20 million euros that can be activated by July 31. Napoli has shown interest in acquiring the player.

Manchester City are battling Napoli for Milinkovic-Savic, with their incoming director of football – Hugo Viana – a big fan of him.

According to Team Talk, Napoli has expressed interest in acquiring Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. Under the management of Antonio Conte, Napoli is keen on adding Milinkovic-Savic to their squad. Both Manchester City and Napoli have been impressed by his proficiency with ball-handling and his abilities in stopping shots. Torino is open to considering reasonable offers as they anticipate making a significant profit from his sale. Although Milinkovic-Savic's contract is set to expire in June 2026, Torino holds the option to extend it by an additional 12 months, which strengthens their position in negotiations. It is expected that both City and Napoli will soon present concrete offers.

Vanja Milinkovic-Savic is having an impressive season with four penalties saved and ten clean sheets in 33 appearances. Napoli, under Antonio Conte's interest, is considering strengthening their goalkeeping position with him. Napoli intends to initiate discussions to see if a deal with Torino, who currently holds his contract, is possible. The potential signing of Milinkovic-Savic is not related to Alex Meret's future at the club.
