His contract with Barcelona was set to end in June, but Barcelona had an option to unilaterally extend it for two more seasons.

Unai Hernández, a midfielder born in 2003 and developed at Barcelona's La Masia, is attracting interest from Al Ittihad. His current contract with Barcelona will expire in June 2025. Although the deal has not yet been finalized, it is regarded as concrete, with a possible transfer fee ranging from 4 to 5 million euros.
