Çaykur Rizespor is in the final stages of acquiring Umut Bozok from Trabzonspor. The club does not wish to pay a transfer fee and has reached an agreement on financial terms with the player's agent. They are waiting for Bozok to obtain his release from Trabzonspor before inviting him to Rize for an official signing and medical examination.

Çaykur Rizespor, one of the lowest-scoring teams in the Süper Lig, is looking to strengthen its forward line and has targeted Umut Bozok, who has been deemed surplus to requirements by Trabzonspor. The club has reportedly told Bozok to find a new club, and a quick agreement is expected between the player and Çaykur Rizespor.

Umut Bozok, who initially showed promise at Trabzonspor but later fell out of favor and did not receive playing time under former coach Abdullah Avcı, is currently in discussions to terminate his contract with Trabzonspor. Amedspor, a 1. Lig team, has shown interest in signing him. Bozok, however, prefers a transfer to Europe, but the European transfer window has already closed.

Trabzonspor has put Umut Bozok on the transfer list after he failed to meet expectations. Amedspor, coached by Trabzonspor's former manager Ersun Yanal, is preparing to make an offer for the player.
