ŁKS Łódź has acquired the services of 18-year-old goalkeeper Łukasz Jakubowski from Stomil Olsztyn. Jakubowski has committed to a contract that extends until June 30, 2028. He will be loaned back to Stomil Olsztyn to complete the ongoing season. This transfer aligns with ŁKS Łódź's strategy to nurture young goalkeeping talent. Jakubowski had undergone sports assessments at ŁKS Łódź during the summer and opted for their developmental route despite having other options. Michał Zapart, the goalkeeping coach at ŁKS, stated that the loan aims to facilitate Jakubowski's development in a senior setting, and they will keep a close watch on his progress.
