Liverpool have turned down a transfer approach from Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen for young midfielder Tyler Morton, according to reports.

The club is considering structuring the deal as a loan with an option to buy or a performance-based purchase obligation, as a simple loan does not meet their preferred conditions.
