Sky Germany reported that Frankfurt decided against allowing Tuta to leave in January, effectively terminating the talks. In contrast, other reports in the German media indicated that there is no issue between Fenerbahçe and Frankfurt. Fenerbahçe is attempting to persuade Tuta, who had previously expressed his affection for Frankfurt and his wish to extend his contract during an interview in November, to join them. Tuta has recently recovered from an injury but has only participated briefly in the last two league matches.

Fenerbahçe is in intense negotiations to bring Tuta to Istanbul. An agreement has largely been reached with Eintracht Frankfurt, and Tuta is expected to arrive in Istanbul this week. Tuta has been in contact with Fenerbahçe while also seeking information from his teammate Filip Kostic.
