Francisco Trincão Transfer from Sporting CP to Manchester United
Manchester United, managed by Ruben Amorim, have expressed interest in signing Francisco Trincao from Sporting CP. It is reported that Amorim and United's recruitment chiefs highly regard Trincao and are planning a summer move to bring him back to England. Trincao, who previously played on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers, has impressed with his performances and is viewed as a versatile player capable of playing as a right winger or central attacking midfielder. With nine goals and 13 assists in 40 appearances this season, Trincao is considered one of Sporting’s most creative players, drawing United’s attention with his impressive performances. Both Manchester United and Manchester City are competing for his signature, with City’s incoming sporting director, Hugo Viana, reportedly also eager to bring the 25-year-old to the Etihad. In response to interest from major clubs, Sporting CP have reportedly approached Trincao about a new contract, possibly to maintain his transfer value.
