Barcelona can repurchase Francisco Trincao from Sporting Lisbon by 2026 for 25 million euros. Barcelona retains a 50% share of any future sale profit. Trincao was initially loaned to Sporting from Barcelona in 2022 for 3 million euros and then permanently transferred for 7 million euros. He has a contract with Sporting until 2027 with a release clause of 80 million euros.

Trincão has a buy-back clause in his contract with Sporting, allowing Barcelona the option to reacquire him. He expressed happiness at Sporting and mentioned no ongoing renewal talks with his current club, despite having three years left on his contract.
