The Independent reports that the Red Devils are tracking Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah. Although a favourite of the Blues’ fans, he was rarely used by Mauricio Pochettino last season. Along with several other academy graduates, including Conor Gallagher and Armando Broja, Chalobah could well be sold by Chelsea in the summer. It is reported Chelsea would demand a fee of €29.5m (£25m) for Chalobah, which is approximately half the price of Branthwaite, making him a viable alternative.
Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Chelsea centre-back Trevoh Chalobah as they look to sign a replacement for Raphael Varane. The 24-year-old was one of Chelsea’s key players during their upturn in form at the end of the campaign, yet the Blues are expected to sell him to generate ‘pure profit.’ As a result, Man Utd are reportedly considering a summer move for Chalobah as they look to bolster their backline.
