Houston Dynamo is nearing the completion of a deal to acquire St Mirren’s leading scorer, Toyosi Olusanya. The Major League Soccer team has reached an agreement on a substantial six-figure transaction with the Scottish club. The 27-year-old has been authorized to initiate discussions with Dynamo, and the agreement is expected to be finalized by the two clubs within the next 24 hours. The transfer hinges on the player obtaining a work permit to facilitate his move to the USA. Olusanya, whose contract with St Mirren is set to expire at the end of the season, was anticipated to leave the club for free in the summer. St Mirren's vice chairman, Jim Gillespie, was instrumental in the negotiations, having turned down several offers before the club eventually met their valuation. Olusanya has netted eight goals this season, establishing himself as a key player for St Mirren.
