Tonio Teklić Transfer from Trabzonspor to BB Erzurumspor
Tonio Teklić has signed his second loan in 2024 and will play for Erzurumspor until the end of the season. Erzurumspor is currently in 6th place in the second Turkish league after four rounds.
Trabzonspor has officially announced that Tonio Teklic has been loaned to Erzurumspor. Teklic joined Trabzonspor based on Nenad Bjelica's report but fell behind in the competition for a starting spot after Abdullah Avcı's tenure. Despite recovering from an injury and working on his fitness with a personal trainer, Teklic could not impress coach Şenol Güneş.
Tonio Teklić is set to join Turkish second division side Erzurumspor on loan. The former Hajduk midfielder moved to Trabzonspor last summer but had limited playing opportunities. He appeared in six matches and spent the second half of last season on loan at Karagumruk. With Trabzonspor bringing in 13 new players this summer and spending 20 million euros on transfers, Teklić is currently struggling to find playing time. Consequently, the loan move is seen as a logical step for the 24-year-old to regain his form. He now faces the challenge of proving himself in the second tier of Turkish football. All agreements have been made, and only the official confirmation is awaited.
Tonio Teklić is awaiting the completion of a loan move to Erzurumspor, a second division club in Turkey. Teklić joined Trabzonspor last summer from Varaždin but struggled to find his form under multiple coaches. After an unsuccessful loan spell at Karagümrük, he is now looking for a fresh start in the second Turkish league.
Turkish media reported that another former Hajduk player, Tonio Teklić, is awaiting the completion of a loan move to Eastern Europe. The 24-year-old Croatian attacking midfielder transferred from Varaždin to Trabzonspor last summer. However, under the management of Nenad Bjelica and subsequent coaches, he struggled to settle in and went on a half-year loan to Karagumruk last winter. His playing time there was also limited, prompting him to seek a return to form in the second tier of Turkish football with Erzurumspor.
