Tommaso Pobega's future at Milan remains uncertain. The midfielder, who came through the youth ranks at Milan, is currently out of the main hierarchy under coach Paulo Fonseca. The arrival of Fofana from Monaco and the possible transfer of Manu Koné to Milan further reduce his chances of securing a starting spot or being part of the coach's rotations. Relevo reported that the player's entourage is carefully evaluating his future. Genoa is showing interest in the former Torino player.

As an alternative to Fabio Miretti, Genoa is also considering Tommaso Pobega, who is deemed surplus to requirements at Milan.

Genoa is looking to sign either Fabio Miretti from Juventus or Tommaso Pobega from Milan to strengthen their midfield after the departures of Retegui and Gudmundsson.
