Atlético-MG announced the signing of Tomás Cuello, a 24-year-old Argentine forward, from Athletico-PR. He signed a four-year contract with Atlético-MG, lasting until December 2028. The signing was requested by Atlético-MG's coach, Cuca, who previously worked with Cuello in Curitiba. Cuello scored 10 goals and provided 24 assists in 164 games for Athletico-PR.

His impressive performance has attracted interest from several Brazilian clubs for the upcoming season. Apart from Vasco Da Gama's definite interest, other significant Brazilian teams have also made inquiries.
