Timotej Jambor leaving Rapid Bucuresti?

Jambor is set to join Zilina on a loan deal, which includes an option for a permanent transfer. This decision aims to guarantee his involvement in the UEFA Under-21 Championship taking place in Slovakia. Initially, Jambor's transfer to Rapid București was valued at one million euros, a notable sum for a young player with potential but limited accomplishments beyond Slovakia's youth and junior national teams. Nevertheless, he faced challenges adapting to the Romanian league and the environment at Rapid București, falling short of the high expectations associated with his transfer fee.

Timotej Jambor is on the list of players Rapid intends to release. The club's management will try to secure a transfer for him or else proceed with contract termination due to a lack of impressive performance.

Timotej Jambor, aged 22, joined Rapid in the summer for a million euros from MSK Zilina. He has struggled to make an impact at the club, with only one assist in 11 matches. Florin Prunea, analyzing Rapid's squad, suggested that Jambor should be loaned out rather than sold immediately, due to adaptation issues. Prunea indicated that there are teams in Liga 1 searching for strikers, which could be potential destinations for Jambor. His market value is currently estimated at 600,000 euros.
