Tiemoué Bakayoko Transfer from PAOK to Levski Sofia
PAOK has reportedly reached an agreement to loan Tiemoue Bakayoko to Levski Sofia. Nevertheless, Bulgarian media reported that the French midfielder failed to attend the scheduled medical tests, which has delayed the finalization of the deal. Levski had expressed interest in acquiring him, agreeing to cover half of his contract for the current season. Although it was planned for Bakayoko to arrive in Sofia over the weekend for medical examinations and to attend a match, his absence has caused frustration for Levski's president, Nasko Sirakov. Despite this setback, there remains optimism that the deal will be completed in the coming days.
Reports from Bulgaria suggest that Levski Sofia is interested in signing Tiémoué Bakayoko from PAOK. Bulgarian journalist Metodi Shumanov indicated on his social media account that Levski Sofia is attempting to secure Bakayoko on a loan deal until the end of the season. It is reported that the Bulgarian club is prepared to cover 50% of his salary. Bakayoko, a 30-year-old French defensive midfielder, joined PAOK in the summer but has failed to impress with his performances. He is listed among the players available for transfer and is currently training separately from the main squad.
