The transfer of Tomas Palacios to Monza is very close to completion. According to Sky Sport, the club is organizing medical and fitness tests. Monza is showing strong interest in acquiring Tomas Palacios from Inter. The club is awaiting the player's decision. Palacios joined Inter in the last summer transfer window for a fixed fee of 6.5 million euros, with potential bonuses up to 11 million euros. Adriano Galliani, Monza's CEO, mentioned that transfers often involve a lot of discussions, with only 1 or 2% being finalized. Monza is looking to strengthen their squad and is actively pursuing Palacios.

Galliani has expressed his desire to bring Tomas Palacios on loan until June. Palacios, who joined Inter last summer for 6.5 million euros plus bonuses, has seen limited playtime, participating in only two league matches and one Coppa Italia game, accumulating a total of 26 minutes on the field. The Argentine defender, born in 2003, has caught Galliani's attention amidst Inter's defensive difficulties, particularly with key players such as Francesco Acerbi being sidelined due to injuries. Despite these challenges, Inter appears reluctant to venture back into the transfer market for a new central defender.
