Thomas Henry Transfer from Hellas Verona to Hertha BSC
Hertha BSC has shown interest in acquiring Thomas Henry, who is presently on loan from Hellas Verona to Palermo. There is a possibility that his loan agreement with Palermo could be terminated to enable the move to Hertha. Cristian Fiel, Hertha's coach, is reportedly in search of a tall striker following Haris Tabakovic's transfer to Hoffenheim. The club has been on the lookout for a new striker for several weeks, and with the transfer window closing today at 8 PM, there is an increased urgency to secure a deal. Thomas Henry, a 1.91 m tall French striker, is being considered a potential candidate despite having scored only two goals this season at Palermo. Nevertheless, his past performances in Belgium with Leuven and in Italy with Venezia underscore his goal-scoring abilities. In the event that the deal for Henry does not come through, Hertha is also keeping an eye on Argentine striker Luis Vazquez from Anderlecht.
