Thibaud Verlinden Transfer from Beerschot-Wilrijk to OH Leuven
Thibaud Verlinden's transfer is in the finalizing phase. Transferwatcher Sacha Tavolieri claims that OH Leuven will secure his signature.
Thibaud Verlinden is on the verge of transferring to OH Leuven as a replacement for Konan N'Dri, who is set to join Lecce for 2 million euros. Initially, it was rumored by Sacha Tavolieri that Verlinden would make a move to Germany. However, Verlinden is now expected to remain in the Jupiler Pro League. OH Leuven's technical director, Gyorgy Csepregi, who has a background with Beerschot, successfully outbid a German club to secure Verlinden's transfer. This decision was made at the last minute after Verlinden was excluded from Beerschot's match against KRC Genk, which reportedly caused considerable frustration for Beerschot's coach, Dirk Kuyt, as he was only informed of the transfer shortly before the game. Despite having a previous agreement with a German club, Verlinden's transfer to OH Leuven was finalized with Beerschot's consent, as the club welcomed the financial gain from the transfer.
