Théo Leoni is in discussions with Anderlecht regarding a contract extension. He is aiming for a long-term deal that would last until 2030, however, he considers the current financial proposal from the club to be inadequate. Negotiations have been in progress since mid-July, but there remains a considerable difference between his salary demands and what the club is willing to offer. Should an agreement not be reached by next summer, Leoni might depart for a reduced fee as he approaches the final year of his current contract. Anderlecht had contemplated selling him during the last summer transfer window, provided the right price was offered.

Anderlecht is negotiating with Théo Leoni to bind him to the club for longer. The negotiations are currently focused on financial terms.

Théo Leoni, like Verschaeren and Stroeykens, is entering his last contract year at Anderlecht. The club has already prepared a contract proposal for him.
