Takuya Ogiwara is currently on loan at Dinamo until winter when the club will decide whether to purchase him.

Ogiwara joined Dinamo Zagreb in January on a one-year loan from Urawa, with an option to buy. The loan cost Dinamo 150,000 euros, and the potential purchase would cost an additional 550,000 euros.

Takuya Ogiwara came to Dinamo this winter as a final solution for the chronic problem of the left back. The Japanese came on loan from Urawa with an ankle injury, which caused him to miss a good part of the preparations. After that, he got sick and finally returned to the squad in early February. He was solid against Gorica (2:0) and Lokomotiva (2:2), and then in the 10th minute of the match with Betis in Seville, he renewed his ankle injury. He recovered in time for the return match against PAOK, in which he even played 11 minutes. He got a minute in the SuperSport Cup against Hajduk and 22 minutes in the last match against Varaždin. Although he didn't play much, the Japanese showed in the last match on several occasions how fast he is and how dangerous he can be when he has the whole side in front of him and plenty of space.

Takuya Ogiwara's loan expires in the winter. Dinamo will have to decide whether to buy him out for 550,000 euros.
