Takuro Kaneko leaving Kortrijk?

Takuro Kaneko announced on social media that he is the new player of Urawa Red Diamonds, a Japanese club competing in the domestic league. He posted a photo on Instagram posing in the jersey of the three-time winner of the Asian Champions League.

Takuro Kaneko, a Japanese flank attacker, joined KV Kortrijk in July from HC Sapporo. However, after a short stint and scoring only one goal in sixteen official matches, he is set to return to Japan to be closer to his wife and newborn daughter. Kaneko has reportedly reached an agreement with Urawa Red Diamonds, and the transfer is expected to be finalized soon.

Takuro Kaneko appears to be on the verge of returning to Japan, with Urawa Red Diamonds as his likely destination. It is reported that the final details of the deal with Kortrijk are currently being negotiated. Kaneko had previously been on loan at Dinamo from Sapporo, where Dinamo had the option to purchase him for 1.1 million euros. However, they only made an offer of 600,000 euros, which did not lead to an agreement between the clubs. Subsequently, Kaneko transferred to Kortrijk, where he managed to score one goal in 16 appearances. Should the transfer go through, Kaneko is expected to reunite with Takuya Ogiwara, who is anticipated to return to Urawa in January following a loan stint at Dinamo.

KV Kortrijk and Urawa Red Diamonds have reportedly reached an agreement regarding the transfer of the 27-year-old right-back Takuro Kaneko. The deal is almost finalized except for a few details. Kaneko joined KV Kortrijk last summer from Sapporo after being loaned to Dinamo Zagreb the previous year. Urawa Red Diamonds have been interested in Kaneko for years and have finally succeeded in securing his signature.

Takuro Kaneko has expressed his ambition to make a top transfer similar to Kaoru Mitoma, who moved from Belgium to become a star in the Premier League. Kaneko dreams of playing in the Premier League and hopes to make that step in the future.
