Szymon Czyż leaving Raków Częstochowa?
Szymon Czyż transferred from Raków Częstochowa to Widzew Łódź on a permanent basis. He signed a contract with Widzew Łódź valid until June 30, 2026, with an option to extend for another 12 months. Widzew's sporting director, Tomasz Wichniarek, mentioned that the club sees the need to strengthen the midfield and wants more Polish players with character and fighting spirit in the team.
Szymon Czyż is very close to a permanent transfer from Raków Częstochowa to Widzew Łódź. Formalities are being finalized. The transfer is permanent. Tomasz Włodarczyk reported this on platform X. The conditions of the operation are not known, but it is unlikely that Raków Częstochowa demanded a high fee for a player with a history of injuries whose contract expires in June 2025.
