Sven Ulreich: FC Bayern München Contract Extension
Sven Ulreich has decided to accept the contract offer from FC Bayern, extending his stay as the third-choice goalkeeper for another season.
Sven Ulreich is set to continue his collaboration with FC Bayern. The 'Oberbayerische Volksblatt' reports that the extension agreement is practically ready, as his current contract expires at the end of the season.
Sven Ulreich has been with FC Bayern since 2015, with a one-year break. He is highly regarded as the second-choice goalkeeper behind Manuel Neuer. FC Bayern intends to honor his contributions with a new contract. However, under the new contract, Ulreich is expected to become the third-choice goalkeeper. He currently earns around two million euros a year.
FC Bayern München has initiated talks with Sven Ulreich for a contract extension beyond 2025. According to Sky, the club intends to enter into dialogue with the player's side in November. The future of Ulreich, who has been the long-term backup goalkeeper, is linked to the contract situations of World Cup winner Manuel Neuer and Daniel Peretz.
