West Ham have expressed interest in acquiring 18-year-old Greek striker Tzimas, who is currently on loan at Nurnberg. Nurnberg are planning to secure his transfer for what they consider an 'absurdly high' fee before selling him at a profit to one of the interested clubs. Nurnberg have an €18 million (£15m/$19m) purchase option for Tzimas, which they regard as 'absurdly high' but are prepared to pay. They aim to sell him to one of the Premier League teams for €20 million (£16.6m/$21m) or more.
