Tottenham has expressed interest in acquiring 18-year-old Greek striker Tzimas, who is currently on loan at Nurnberg. Nurnberg is planning to secure him for a fee they consider to be excessively high before selling him for a profit to one of the interested clubs. The club holds an €18 million (£15m/$19m) purchase option for Tzimas, which they regard as excessively high but are prepared to pay. They aim to sell him to one of the Premier League teams for €20 million (£16.6m/$21m) or higher.
