Newcastle have expressed interest in acquiring 18-year-old Greek striker Tzimas, who is currently on loan at Nurnberg. Nurnberg are planning to secure him for a fee they consider to be extremely high before selling him at a profit to one of the interested clubs. Nurnberg hold an €18million (£15m/$19m) purchase option for Tzimas, which they acknowledge as extremely high but are prepared to pay. They aim to sell him to one of the Premier League teams for a price of €20million (£16.6m/$21m) or more.
