Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, expressed his willingness to let go of the Romanian goalkeeper Ștefan Târnovanu, although he currently has no offers for the FCSB starting goalkeeper. Ioan Becali indicated that Târnovanu could leave FCSB for a sum of 5 million euros. He also noted that Udinese is considering Târnovanu for transfer because they are not satisfied with their current goalkeeper, Răzvan Sava. Upon hearing the 5 million euro price, Udinese initially opted for Sava but are still contemplating Târnovanu at the same price.

Bănel Nicoliță believes that Ștefan Târnovanu has a high chance of leaving FCSB, especially since the club has signed one of the best goalkeepers in the league, Lukas Zima, from Petrolul. Nicoliță suggests that Serie A would suit Târnovanu, as his agent Ioan Becali has stated that Udinese is monitoring him.
