Ștefan Târnovanu Transfer from FCSB to Napoli
Napoli has shown interest in acquiring Ștefan Târnovanu, who currently serves as the starting goalkeeper for FCSB. It has been reported that representatives from Napoli plan to travel to Bucharest to observe Târnovanu during his performance in the match against Lyon. Târnovanu's contract includes a release clause set at 10 million euros, which Gigi Becali, the owner of FCSB, has reportedly refused to lower. Alongside Napoli, Galatasaray, the reigning champion and current leader in Turkey, is also expressing interest in the Romanian national goalkeeper. Both clubs are expected to send their representatives to the Arena Națională to watch the Europa League match slated for Thursday at 19:45. Târnovanu, who has been part of the national team squad for the last three years, has achieved 19 clean sheets in 47 appearances across all competitions. Although specialty sites have valued him at 3.5 million euros, Becali's firm position on maintaining the 10 million euro release clause is said to be a crucial aspect of the negotiations.
