Sondre Liseth Transfer from Haugesund to Górnik Zabrze

Sondre Liseth has joined Górnik Zabrze on a free transfer after parting ways with Haugesund in early January. His contract with Górnik Zabrze is set to last until December 31, 2025, with an option for extension. The transfer was initiated to enhance Górnik's offense, which has been lacking since the departure of Igor Angulo. Liseth is recognized for his versatility, having played as a forward, attacking midfielder, and winger in the Norwegian league. This transfer represents Górnik's first move in the winter transfer window, aimed at addressing the long-standing need for a reliable striker, a position that has been problematic since Angulo's exit. The club's sporting director, Łukasz Milik, noted the difficulties in finding affordable strikers, which made Liseth's free transfer particularly valuable. Liseth, who has made 106 appearances in Norway's top league with 13 goals and 7 assists, expressed his understanding of Górnik's values and his commitment to hard work, aligning with the club's ethos.
