Il Calcio Foggia 1920 recently announced the signing of Sofian Kiyine on a loan deal from Triestina, which will see him stay with the club until June 30, 2025. Kiyine, a midfielder born in 1997, possesses dual Belgian-Moroccan citizenship and has gathered experience playing in Serie A, Serie B, and Belgium's top league. His career began in the youth system of Standard Liege in Belgium before he moved to Italy in 2015 to join Chievo in Serie B. He later played in Serie A for Salernitana, although Lazio owned his rights and loaned him to Venezia for the 2021/22 season. During the 2022/23 and 2023/24 seasons, he played in Belgium's top league for OH Leuven, where he made 30 appearances and scored 3 goals. Earlier this season, he was with Triestina. Throughout his career, Kiyine has made 56 appearances in Serie A, 70 in Serie B, and 10 in Serie C.
