Simon Simoni leaving Eintracht Frankfurt?
Kicker has reported on the loan transfer of Simon Simoni to 1. FC Kaiserslautern from Eintracht Frankfurt. Simon Simoni, a 20-year-old goalkeeper, has joined 1. FC Kaiserslautern on a loan basis for one and a half years from Eintracht Frankfurt. The move is intended to create a fresh competitive situation for the goalkeeper position at Kaiserslautern, where Julian Krahl is currently the main goalkeeper. Kaiserslautern's CEO Thomas Hengen described Simoni as a young, talented, and developing player who has already gained significant experience at a high level. Simoni conveyed his excitement about joining the club, acknowledging it as a great club with fantastic fans and an opportunity for his development.
Simon Simoni's loan to FC Ingolstadt is being terminated early. Instead, the 20-year-old goalkeeper will be placed at 1. FC Kaiserslautern for an 18-month stint. Additionally, the second division club will secure a purchase option for one million euros. Eintracht Frankfurt retains control and can buy back the goalkeeper for three million euros if needed.
