Sergi Altimira Transfer from Real Betis to Wolverhampton Wanderers
Manchester City have been tipped to reignite their interest in Real Betis midfielder Sergi Altimira. The Spanish talent would be available for between €40-50m (£33.5-41.8m) and has also attracted interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers. (Estadio Deportivo - Spain)
Wolverhampton reportedly expressed interest in Sergi Altimira during the winter transfer market, according to Abc and confirmed by Fabrizio Romano. Altimira, who developed his skills at FC Barcelona's Masia, was acquired by Real Betis from Getafe in the summer of 2023 for a fee of two million euros. Despite interest from Wolverhampton and other clubs such as Manchester City, Real Betis is not inclined to let go of Altimira. The club intends to renew his contract, which is currently valid until 2028, and significantly raise his release clause, which already surpasses 40 million euros. Altimira has established himself as a crucial player for Betis, having participated in 30 matches this season, and his market value continues to increase.
