Elye Wahi is being chased by West Ham United, too, and he would also be available on loan after struggling for minutes in Marseille. The French outfit are looking to attach a mandatory buy clause in any deal.

According to L'Equipe, West Ham has contacted Olympique de Marseille to obtain a loan for Elye Wahi with an almost mandatory purchase option estimated at 25 million euros. Marseille had spent the same amount, excluding bonuses, to buy Wahi last summer and sign him to a five-year contract. As of now, Marseille does not wish to sell Wahi, but if the player desires to join the Premier League, the situation might change.

West Ham is reportedly interested in pursuing a loan deal for Elye Wahi, which includes a quasi-mandatory purchase option estimated at €25 million. However, it is noted that Marseille is being cautious about these initial discussions and is not eager to rush into negotiations for the promising player, who was acquired from Lens last summer for a base fee of €25 million plus €5 million in bonuses. Despite Marseille's initial reluctance to part with Wahi, there is a possibility for a transfer if a market develops for him and he expresses a desire to join the Premier League.

Elye Wahi, who joined Olympique de Marseille last summer for 30 million euros (including bonuses) from RC Lens, has experienced a tough beginning to his season. Nevertheless, club president Pablo Longoria reportedly ruled out the possibility of Wahi's departure this winter. However, L'Equipe reported that Wahi has attracted interest from two Premier League clubs, Bournemouth and West Ham. At present, both clubs have only expressed interest in Wahi's situation without submitting any formal offers. For any potential transfer to proceed, two conditions must be met: Wahi's willingness to leave and a proposal that enables Marseille to recover their investment.
