Racing Straßburg has announced the signing of 22-year-old forward Sekou Mara, who has signed a contract until 2029. Mara played 22 times in the Premier League for Southampton (scoring once), and after their relegation to the Championship, he scored three times in 28 games last season, helping them to immediate promotion.

French forward Sékou Mara from Southampton is set to sign with Racing Club de Strasbourg in a transfer worth 12 million euros. He will sign a five-year contract running until June 2029. Mara is expected to arrive in Alsace this Tuesday to undergo his medical examination and will be eligible for the match against Rennes on Sunday afternoon.

RC Lens is interested in signing Sekou Mara. The player is open to a return to Ligue 1 after his stint at Southampton.
